2. Q1 In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products. We had completed different researches of different genres this was so we could get the idea of what we had wanted to base our opening clip on. We had looked at different genres like comedy, horror, thriller and action movies once we had completed our research we had a clearer idea that we wanted to do a thriller. I had completed my research on the movie which was Saw, this had given our group an idea that it could link into our story line which given out the idea that a detective would be in the opening that is trying to solve a mystery of a missing girl. 3. Q1 In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products. When we had chosen our genre we had noticed that later we was researching a lot in to films that are detective type, also time limited we were looking mainly looking for films that seemed like the whole process is a game. The two main films that helped us visualise what we wanted was flash-forward which we did not use the storyline idea but we had looked at how the opening was set so it was all small shots our film has a similarity also to saw as the whole thing is a game between the detective and the killer. 4. Q1 In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products. When looking back at the movie I can see that we had tried our best to get the camera angles in the correct position we did not keep the camera in one position, we had try to put in a variety. This was so it can have a affect on the scene for example in a scene when the I am being followed and Ruhan covers my move and the camera is at his point of view so the audience can see what the killer can see. This was an idea from Jamiul and it was a great idea as it helped us improvise and better the scene from what it was before. Before I am taken away by Ruhan, all is head are our foot steps which set the scene making the audience wonder what's going to happen next, the mise en scence is set as a normal outdoor back ground. Natural wind sounds trees and a walking subway which the girl is about to approach thinking she will be home soon not knowing what was around the corner.
