Intertek’s Sign Certification Program for electric signs is designed to benefit
those manufacturers producing many different styles of similar test-exempt
sign fixtures. The program focuses on those signs that do not require the
Normal Temperature Test and were designed in a manner that complies
with the standard’s construction requirements of ANSI/UL 48.
Key features of Intertek’s Sign Program include:
• Flexibility to test at an Intertek facility or at your manufacturing facility
• Faster speed to market for your products
• Training of manufacturer’s staff on evaluating products to ANSI/UL 48
