difficult to cover them under formal schemes of unemployment benefits, insurance and other benefits.
 Rampant poverty among spatially dispersed rural population also makes self schemes difficult to administer.

contingencies and fail to address the fundamental cause for insecurity and vulnerability.
 An important structural feature that affects workers is the activity status, that is, whether the worker has
a salaried job, is a casual employee or a self-employed.
 The high vulnerability or food deprivation of the house holds of women works tends, overtime, to lead to a reduction
in their productivity.
 The lack of an employer-employee relationship makes it difficult to decide at whose door the burden of providing

 will come to know about Indian products.
 When the value of our nation products are known we don’t need any ECI
 here in India.

 the economic status of every Indian citizen will be enhanced including the per
 capital income and we will be vulnerable soon.
 Tax margin will be reduced to 50% for the traders who participate in ECI.
 Broadening the goal of social prptection from ricks minimization or alleviation to
risk elimination would imply a shift in the strategy from prevention a fall in income
or minimize the fluctuation for raising the level of income.

of food products.
Mutual trade between the people, belonging to the informal sectors will make their access easier when compared to their
trade with formal sectors.
Food production within the informal sectors can be shared within the informal sectors using a cooperative society.
Improve the food security at house hold level in every villages in our country through a privatized cooperative sector.
Government can abide rules such that the taxes availed from the food production industry can be given dirrectly to the
vulnerable people who are affected by drought, flood, etc.

 Just like how PHC’s are there in the rural areas special dispensary for the informal sectors can be structured and considered.
 This will serve not only the public but also the people from the informal sectors will be benefited.
 Indian Government should impose policies which can form groups like NGO’s using youth by which health awareness and
the requirement for the health centers for the informal sectors can be achieved.
 These jobs would ensure minimum levels of income so that the health security would only be required to meet contigencies
that lead to loss of income such as inners, maternity or death of an earning member of a family

 Economic security is useful for the analysis to demarcate insecurities faced by different sections of the populations to visualise
the different kinds of core needs of social protection.
 The presence of a proper housing structure will improve their capacity to claim any social protection measures for which they
may be eligible.
 Shelter security is particularly important for informal workers because a large propotion of them also use their home as a place
of work.
 Health plays a vital role than any other aspects of life, so health security is to be structured first.
 Education plays an equal role to that of health as it changes he life style.
 The realization and the organization of the mainly NGO’s working with the informal
 workers led to an international focus on certain groups of workers between the
 informal sectors who are considered the most invisible.
