 Managed work processes as radio & TV projects engineer and assumed responsibility for installation and
launching of radio and TV transmitters for KSA Ministry of Information (MOI) projects
 Managed the sales of electronic spare parts by dealing with a lot of manufacturers and suppliers all over the
world as a Harris Corporation representative for spinner, mytech, gemini marketing, dalatec, and advanced
semiconductor
 Analyzed technicalities of the tenders of the projects provided by Ministry of Information and prepared all
notes and comments about the transmitters, ancillary equipments and spare parts
 Prepared the quotation requests for the equipments manufacturers
 Managed the compliance between the Ministry of Information requirements and the quoted items and
contacted the manufacturers to know if any modifications were needed in their offered equipments
 Prepared the offers for Ministry of Information tenders
PROJECTS EXECUTION:
 Installed four medium wave radio transmitters (Harris DX-10 ) and ancillary equipments: including two
program input and monitoring racks, one test rack, one control desk to control the transmitters by remote, two
dummy loads and two RF changeover switches at Gezan radio station – Gazan City Upper of KSA
 Installation of One VHF Television Transmitter (Harris-5KW) and Ancillary Equipments: Including Program
Input and Monitoring Rack, Diplexer, Dummy Load and RF Changeover Switch in Addition to Low Voltage
Power Supply Circuit Breaker Panel, Step-Up Transformer, Automatic Voltage Regulator and Surge Suppresser
at Riyadh TV Center – Riyadh Capital of KSA
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Visited the site in which all equipments were supposed to be installed for survey to check whether it was ready
to start or not
 Determined the most suitable locations for the equipments
 Determined the suitable sizes of power supply cables according to the total current of all loads supplied
 Determined the suitable types of audio, video and RF cables in addition to control cables
 Prepared the drawing in scale for the equipments locations and provided those drawing to Ministry of
Information and Engineering Affairs for acceptance
 Initiated installation of the equipments according to the accepted drawings and did all wiring including (rigid
coaxial, video cables, audio cables, RF cables, control cables and power supply cables) by hand following the
wiring diagrams provided by Harris Corporation
 Extended the earth copper strap to all equipments
