This presentation is related to real life application of vector. Where vector is used in our life e.g projectile,in gaming, avoiding crosswind, aviation, designing roller coaster etc.

3. DEFINITION OF VECTOR
A vector is a quantity or phenomenon that has
two independent properties: magnitude and
direction. The term also denotes the
mathematical or geometrical representation of
such a quantity. Examples of vectors in nature
are velocity, momentum, force, electromagnetic
fields, and weight.
4. APPLICATIONS OF VECTOR
Few Application of Vector
Force, Torque and Velocity
Military Usage
Projectile
In gaming
Designing Roller Coaster
In Cricket
Avoiding Crosswind
5. FORCE, TORQUE, VELOCITY
For calculating every vectorial unit we
need vector. For example in a
moving car the tire has mass
It has also initial and final velocity,
acceleration and gravitational reaction, friction forces
and due to rotation it has torque. For getting the result
we need vector.
6. MILITARY USAGE
A cannon is any piece of artillery that uses gun power
or other usually explosive based propellants to launch
a projectile. Cannon vary in caliber, range mobility
rate of fire angle of fire and firepower. Different forms
of cannon combine and balance these attributes in
varying degrees depending on their intended use on
the battlefield. For this vector is must to use.
7. PROJECTILE
In Sports like basketball, baseball vector
is used unconsciously by the players. Ultimately
they shot the target or throw the ball at a direction
with an angle which is done
by the knowledge of vector.
8. VECTOR IN GAMING
In Games, vectors are used to store positions
directions and velocities. The position vectors
indicates how far the object is the velocity vector
indicates how much time it will take or how
much force we should give and the direction
vector indicates in which way we should
apply the force.
9. ROLLER COASTER
Most of the motion in a roller coaster ride is a response to
earths gravitational pull. When a train reaches at a peak
point then ride to the downhill it gains enough speed for
gravitational pull. With this speed it climb to the next hill.
This process occurs over and over until all the train’s
energy has been lost to friction, the train would be able to
keep running as long as no point on the track was higher
than the first peak. Here vectors of forces, acceleration
and velocity are important to make safety system.
10. IN CRICKET
In cricket if a batsman hit a lob shot there will be three
possibility like catch out or drop before the fielder or
maximum. It depends on the batsman in which angle
he shots and how much the velocity when he hits the
ball if everything fulfill the requirements for maximum
force then the ball goes to over boundary otherwise
the another two incident can be happen. Its all about
vector because the ball
11. BOAT CROSSING A RIVER
When a boat cross a river there are two velocity work
together, velocity of river and velocity of boat. The
direction of boat change with the respect of velocity of
river. So the boatman find a angle for crossing the river
to reach the bank of river straightly. The angle is
𝜃 = cos−1
(
−𝑣 𝑟
𝑣 𝑏
)
12. CROSSWIND
We are familiar to the term of crosswind. A
crosswind is any wind That has a perpendicular
component to the line or direction of
travel. When a plan come to land sometimes
It face difficulties for crosswind. A pilot
can find out the resultant velocity
and direction by with help of vector.
