This document describes a modern LED street lighting system that uses a wireless sensor network to control light intensity based on vehicle movements and atmospheric conditions. The system uses LED lights which are more energy efficient than traditional street lights. Sensors detect vehicle presence and traffic flow to automatically adjust light levels as needed. The lights can be dimmed or brightened depending on conditions to save energy. A base station monitors and controls the system remotely. The goal is to reduce energy consumption and costs for street lighting through this automatic, wireless control system.
