1. It ensures products reach customers and generates sales and brand awareness. The network has producers,
wholesalers, retailers, and consumers. It affects product prices. It includes middlemen such as wholesalers, retailers,
distributors, or the Internet.
2. It facilitates sales at a given price that generates profit for the company. Sales and distribution management plays a
key role in setting and meeting corporate sales and performance goals.
3. There are three major distribution channels and they are:
Direct distribution channels
Indirect distribution channels
Hybrid distribution channels
