Introduction
AO ABTS: Determine whether ascorbate antioxidant
activity does truly protects plasma lipids against damage
by inhibition of metmyoglobin and ABTS oxidation
depending on concentration.
AO DPPH: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the
comparability of antioxidant capacity measurements
obtained by ABTS and DPPH assay, when applied to a
large number of food samples containing a variety of
fruits, vegetables and beverages that are major
contributors to antioxidant intake in the US diet
Cell Viability: The experiment is done to determine cell
viability in algal cultures by using a colorimetric assay
widely used for the estimation of cell proliferation in animal
cells
METHOD
1. Antioxidant Activity ABTS
a) Ascorbate inhibits ABTS and metmyoglobin  green color
2. Antioxidant Activity DPPH
a) DPPH radical + ascorbate  removes radical  colorless solution
3. Cell viability
a) Cell count

a) MTS
I. Cells + MTS(yellow)  Formazan(brown crystal)
