2. The first thing I did was
create the silver border
for my cover. I did this
by creating a basic
rectangle to cover the
page and then created a
smaller pale blue
rectangle to create the
background and border
for my front cover.
3. Using Dafont I
created the
masthead of my
magazine cover
and then inserted
them onto my
background using
the place tool.
4. I then inserted my
barcode which was
created by a
barcode generator
online. I also added
an information box
above it using the
rectangle tool to
add the information
needed.
5. I then added in
the tagline of
the magazine
above the
masthead using
the font Berlin
San FB and then
alternating the
colours to fit in
with the rest of
the house style.
6. I then decided to
use the bucket list
for the
background,
similar to my
poster. By placing
the image, it also
created the
gradient effect on
the masthead.
7. I then placed
the main
anchorage
onto the cover
before
adjusting the
size to fit it in
with the
information as
well as making
it conventional.
8. I then inserted
the footer bar
by inserting a
rectangle
using the tool
on in design
before
inserting my
thumbnail
image.
9. I then inserted
the text into
my footer bar
using the
fonts Freestyle
Script for the
titles and
Berlin Sans FB
for the rest.
10. I then used a
tutorial to
create a sticker/
puff pug to put
on my
magazine
cover.
I used the same
text from the
cover for the
information in
the puff pug.
11. I then added all of
the rest of my text
onto my cover.
Using a Dafont font
for the main cover
line and being
consistent with the
fonts I used in my
footer. I also
changed my footer
text to be more
conventional.
