2. I have decided to revolve my
main article around a new
female Hip-Hop singer. From
this I must think about how my
model is dressed.Traditionally
the colour black is known for its
connotation and links to the
Hip-Hop genre. Saying this,
neutral colours are also popular
and any colour can be
manipulated to the standard it
needs to be.The type of
clothing varies, styled jeans are
popular along with the likes of
crop tops and snapbacks.
However, a trendy skirt or dress
could also work.
3. Traditionally, the most
iconic female Hip-Hop
artists have been
African American, and
with this, they have
carried the iconic style
of the afro.This look
would look very
effective to show
within my magazine.
However, distant curly
and straight styles are
always going to look
effective to represent
the genre, as this looks
bold which resonates
with the genre.
4. When thinking about
make-up in the Hip-Hop
genre, it is mostly took off
and inspired by the
current or popular makeup
of the time. I have added
images of females within
the music industry along
with women who are
profound and popular for
their own makeup.
Currently the glam but
almost natural look is very
popular, in other words,
you either want to go big
or go simple. By knowing
this it has definitely gave
me ideas for my own
shoots and makeup
choices for my models
