51% of Aeroflot is owned by the Russian Government.

Joined SkyTeam in April 2006, during which it became the

4. Aeroflot: Key people and Ownership
Key people:
Aeroflot’s CEO position is occupied by Vitaly Savelyev as of
December 2013.
Savelyev was nominated on 10 April 2009, succeeding Valery
Okulov.
Even though Savelyev’s nomination was only supposed to last
until April 2014, Russia’s government extended it to another five
years.
Ownership:
As of December 2013, 51% of Aeroflot is state-run.
