3. Project overview:
In this world of information, fluent transfer of information is important.
Starting from receiving data to displaying data the electronic devices
has played significant role.
In this project an LedArt mobile app is used as a controller to
command the Light Emitting Diode (LED).
The information regarding the display content is stored in the LedArt
app in the form of program. A LED is used to display the information.
The information displays date and time.
5. P10 LIGHT EMITTING DIODE(LED) DISPLAY
LED (Light Emitting Diode) is an electronic display module.
A 16×2 is very commonly used in various devices and circuits.
A 8×40 LED means it has 16 columns and 2 rows for displaying
information.
A command is given to LED to do a predefined task like initializing it,
clearing its screen, setting the cursor position, controlling display etc.
The data sent to the LED is in parallel combination i.e. by using D0 to D7
pins.
6. LedArt Mobile app
• Install the LedArt app on your mobile
• Select the Wi-Fi hotspot corresponding to the control card
• Then the software interface displays the name of control card
• Click New display on the program list interface ,the app will automatically read the control
card model and resolution
• Select content such as text,clock,animation word,etc.,and freely set display effects.
• Select Send program to wait for the transmission to succeed
7. WIFI CARD CONTROLLER
• WiFi Card controller is a low cost,high cost-effective
• Easy to operate
• Better display information
• Supports variety kinds of colour displays
• Application software:LedArt (APP),HD2018,HD2020
• The mobile phone can be connected to the WiFi hotspot of the control card
to update the program
• We have to make sure that the control card is stored during normal
operation ,and we have to use standard 5V power supply voltage
8. WIFI CARD CONTROLLER
① Wi-Fi antenna, Connect the computer or mobile phone through Wi-Fi to send
parameters and programs
② Power connector, Connect 5V power supply
③ S1 test button, Click to switch screen test status
④ P7:Connect the brightness sensor
⑤ S2:Connect the point switch, switch to next program, the timer starts, count plus
⑥ S3:Connect the point switch, switch the previous program, timer reset, count down
⑦ S4:Connect the point switch, program control, timing pause, count reset
⑧ HUB12: Connect the display

10. Working:
The LED is directly connected to the LedArt mobile app for data
reception.
The data is sent to the LED through its D0 to D7 terminals, i.e.
parallel communication.
The data is received by the LED and displayed on its screen.
The data halts at a position for a second for better legibility.
