INTRODUCTION
 MOTIVATION : To enhance the standard of living, the appliances need to
be wholly automated without any user intervention in any form whatsoever.
This enables the end user hassle-free interaction with the appliances as the
appliances learn and react as per the user's requirements without him
physically pressing a button.
 PROJECT OBJECTIVE : The main objective of this project is to
develop a conference hall automation system using an Node MCU board with
Internet being remotely controlled by any Android OS smart phone for getting
smarter.
 KEY IDEA : In this automation system, we will control conference hall
appliances as bulbs connected to relay using blynk application.
BLOCK DIAGRAM , CODE OPERATION AND
CONNECTIVITY.
 BLOCK DIAGRAM  CODE OPERATION :
After the code is written, check for errors and
then upload it on to the NodeMCU board and
verify the functioning of the designed circuit by
checking the output.
 CONNECTIVITY :
o The circuit is very simple, I have used the GPIO
pins D1, D2, D5 & D6 to control the 4 relays.
o And the GPIO pins SD3, D3, D7 &
RX connected with push buttons to control the 4
relays manually.
o we have used the INPUT_PULLUP function in
Arduino IDE instead of using the pull-up
resistors.
o We have used a 5V mobile charger to supply the
smart relay module.
o The D3 pin should not be connected with GND
during the booting process of NodeMCU.

NODEMCU :
NodeMCU is an open source platform based on ESP8266 which can connect
objects and let data transfer using the WIFI protocol.
NodeMCU is an open source platform based on ESP8266 which can connect objects and let
data transfer using the Wi-Fi protocol. In addition, by providing some of the most important
features of microcontrollers such as GPIO, PWM, ADC, and etc, it can solve many of the
project’s needs alone.
The general features of this board are as follows:
•Easy to use
•Programmability with Arduino IDE or IUA languages
•Available as an access point or station
•practicable in Event-driven API applications
•Having an internal antenna
•Containing 13 GPIO pins, 10 PWM channels, I2C, SPI, ADC, UART, and 1-Wire
COMPONENTS REQUIRED AND WHY?
RELAY MODULE : A relay is an electrical device which is generally used to control
high voltages using very low voltage as an Input.
•Relay is basically act a switch between electrical load and NodeMCU.
•Relay have two configuration NO (Normally Open) & NC (Normally Close).
•Relay have coil which is energized by 5v, when coil energized switching action takes place,
based on NO-NC configuration.
•If relay is NO configuration then when coil is energized switching action takes place from
NO-NC then load will be connected.
 PUSH BUTTONS : A Push buttons is a simple switch mechanism to control
some aspect of a machine or a process.
 WIRELESS NETWORK : A wireless network is a computer network that
uses wireless data connections between network nodes.
•A wireless network allows devices to stay connected to the network but roam
untethered to any wires.
• Access point amplify Wi-Fi signals, so a device can be far from a router but still be
connected to the network.
• When you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot at a cafe, a hotel, an airport lounge, or
another public place, you're connecting to that business's wireless network.
BYLNK WORKS:
•Blynk was designed for the Internet of Things. It can control hardware remotely, it can
display sensor data, it can store data, vizualize it and do many other cool things.
•There are three major components in the platform:
•Blynk App - allows to you create amazing interfaces for your projects using various
widgets we provide.
•Blynk Server - responsible for all the communications between the smart phone and
hardware. You can use our Blynk Cloud or run your private Blynk server locally. It’s open-
source, could easily handle thousands of devices and can even be launched on a
Raspberry Pi.
•Blynk Libraries - for all the popular hardware platforms - enable communication with the
server and process all the incoming and out coming commands.
•Now imagine: every time you press a Button in the Blynk app, the message travels
to space the Blynk Cloud, where it magically finds its way to your hardware. It works the
same in the opposite direction and everything happens in a blynk of an eye.

•Direct pin manipulation with no code writing
•Easy to integrate and add new functionality using virtual pins
•History data monitoring via SuperChart widget
•Device-to-Device communication using Bridge Widget
•Sending emails, tweets, push notifications, etc.

CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK
CONCLUSION:
Based on the results of analysis of all data obtained by testing the smart
conference hall with the Internet of Things based NodeMCU ESP6288 module, the
following conclusions can be drawn. Smart conference hall with Internet of Things
(IoT) based NodeMCU ESP8266 Module can be designed with various components
hardware and software support
FUTURE WORK:
Future scope for the automation system involves making conference hall even
smarter. Conference hall can be interfaced with the sensors including the motion
sensors, light sensors and temperature sensors and thus this may provide the
automatic toggling of the devices according to the conditions..

  • 3. INTRODUCTION  MOTIVATION : To enhance the standard of living, the appliances need to be wholly automated without any user intervention in any form whatsoever. This enables the end user hassle-free interaction with the appliances as the appliances learn and react as per the user's requirements without him physically pressing a button.  PROJECT OBJECTIVE : The main objective of this project is to develop a conference hall automation system using an Node MCU board with Internet being remotely controlled by any Android OS smart phone for getting smarter.  KEY IDEA : In this automation system, we will control conference hall appliances as bulbs connected to relay using blynk application.

BLOCK DIAGRAM , CODE OPERATION AND CONNECTIVITY.  BLOCK DIAGRAM  CODE OPERATION : After the code is written, check for errors and then upload it on to the NodeMCU board and verify the functioning of the designed circuit by checking the output.  CONNECTIVITY : o The circuit is very simple, I have used the GPIO pins D1, D2, D5 & D6 to control the 4 relays. o And the GPIO pins SD3, D3, D7 & RX connected with push buttons to control the 4 relays manually. o we have used the INPUT_PULLUP function in Arduino IDE instead of using the pull-up resistors. o We have used a 5V mobile charger to supply the smart relay module. o The D3 pin should not be connected with GND during the booting process of NodeMCU.   • 5. NODEMCU : NodeMCU is an open source platform based on ESP8266 which can connect objects and let data transfer using the WIFI protocol. In addition, by providing some of the most important features of microcontrollers such as GPIO, PWM, ADC, and etc, it can solve many of the project’s needs alone. The general features of this board are as follows: •Easy to use •Programmability with Arduino IDE or IUA languages •Available as an access point or station •practicable in Event-driven API applications •Having an internal antenna •Containing 13 GPIO pins, 10 PWM channels, I2C, SPI, ADC, UART, and 1-Wire COMPONENTS REQUIRED AND WHY?
  • 6. RELAY MODULE : A relay is an electrical device which is generally used to control high voltages using very low voltage as an Input. •Relay is basically act a switch between electrical load and NodeMCU. •Relay have two configuration NO (Normally Open) & NC (Normally Close). •Relay have coil which is energized by 5v, when coil energized switching action takes place, based on NO-NC configuration. •If relay is NO configuration then when coil is energized switching action takes place from NO-NC then load will be connected.
  • 7.  PUSH BUTTONS : A Push buttons is a simple switch mechanism to control some aspect of a machine or a process.  WIRELESS NETWORK : A wireless network is a computer network that uses wireless data connections between network nodes. •A wireless network allows devices to stay connected to the network but roam untethered to any wires. • Access point amplify Wi-Fi signals, so a device can be far from a router but still be connected to the network. • When you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot at a cafe, a hotel, an airport lounge, or another public place, you're connecting to that business's wireless network.

It can control hardware remotely, it can display sensor data, it can store data, vizualize it and do many other cool things. •There are three major components in the platform: •Blynk App - allows to you create amazing interfaces for your projects using various widgets we provide. •Blynk Server - responsible for all the communications between the smart phone and hardware. You can use our Blynk Cloud or run your private Blynk server locally. It’s open- source, could easily handle thousands of devices and can even be launched on a Raspberry Pi. •Blynk Libraries - for all the popular hardware platforms - enable communication with the server and process all the incoming and out coming commands. •Now imagine: every time you press a Button in the Blynk app, the message travels to space the Blynk Cloud, where it magically finds its way to your hardware. It works the same in the opposite direction and everything happens in a blynk of an eye.

CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK CONCLUSION: Based on the results of analysis of all data obtained by testing the smart conference hall with the Internet of Things based NodeMCU ESP6288 module, the following conclusions can be drawn. Smart conference hall with Internet of Things (IoT) based NodeMCU ESP8266 Module can be designed with various components hardware and software support FUTURE WORK: Future scope for the automation system involves making conference hall even smarter. Conference hall can be interfaced with the sensors including the motion sensors, light sensors and temperature sensors and thus this may provide the automatic toggling of the devices according to the conditions..
