Main Findings
• The Separator B, oily water level control valve LDV31160B shall be increased
in the port size diameter flow capacity from CV=56 to a New valve CV= 150, in
order to cover the de-rating pressure to 22.5 Barg.
• A new set point was provided to be 32 barg for the PSV’s of separator B, New
Datasheet has been calculated (IFR) and the results are pointing out a change
in the following items:
3 New PSV’s (1,2,3) Type according API526 is: 8T10
Inlet pipeline reducer: 12”x8”
Outlet full bore block valve: 10”
Outlet pipeline expander 20”x10”

Main Findings
• The Separator B, Pressure Control valve gas to Flare header PV31111B shall
be increased in the port size diameter flow capacity from CV=260 to a New
valve CV= 900, in order to cover the de-rating pressure to 22.5 Barg.
• The Separator B, Oil level control valve LV31105B and the Flow control valve
FV31113B do not need a change/replacement for the de-rating pressure to
22.5 Barg.
• Separator B capacity Datasheet (IFR) shows the separator capacity suitable
for the de-rating pressure to 22.5 barg.

CONCLUSIONS
• Separator B capacity check DATASHEET (IFR) at 22.5 barg, shows no
limitation for a maximum of 4 lines from loops 10, 20 and 30, reservoir A.
• PSV 1,2,3 on Separator B, have been designed to protect the vessel for a
block outlet scenario with Set Point=93 barg. The request change in Set
Point to 32 barg, needs the following equipment list to change/replace :
• 3 New PSV’s (1,2,3) Type according API526 is: 8T10.
• Inlet pipeline reducer: 12”x8”
• Outlet full bore block valve: 10”
• Outlet pipeline expander 20”x10”

CONCLUSION CONT…
• The Separator B, PV31111B and LDV31160B shall be increased in the port
size diameter flow to cover the de-rating pressure at 22.5 Barg.
• The Separator B, LV31105B and FV31113B do not need a
change/replacement for the de-rating pressure at 22.5 Barg.

PROJECT STATUS 07-02-2015 DW TS - ECP – AKPO debottlenecking– 07.02.15 8 CONCLUSIONS • Separator B capacity check DATASHEET (IFR) at 22.5 barg, shows no limitation for a maximum of 4 lines from loops 10, 20 and 30, reservoir A. • PSV 1,2,3 on Separator B, have been designed to protect the vessel for a block outlet scenario with Set Point=93 barg. The request change in Set Point to 32 barg, needs the following equipment list to change/replace : • 3 New PSV’s (1,2,3) Type according API526 is: 8T10. • Inlet pipeline reducer: 12”x8” • Outlet full bore block valve: 10” • Outlet pipeline expander 20”x10”
