6. Cleaning of Aggregate
The washing of aggregates is required for many markets and
applications. Nowadays the finished product needs to meet specifications
outlined by the ever stringent and demanding world markets. Where dry
screening was accepted in the past, washing and scrubbing are now
required to produce a silt free product.
7. Grading of Aggregate
Grading refers to the determination of the particle-size distribution
for aggregate. Grading limits and maximum aggregate size are
specified because these properties affect the amount of aggregate used
as well as cement and water requirements, workability, pumpability, and
durability of concrete.
8.
9. Grading of Aggregate
Poor graded : Poor-graded aggregate is characterized by small variation
in size. It contains aggregate particles that are almost of the same size.
This means that the particles pack together, leaving relatively large voids
in the concrete. It is also called “uniform-graded”.
10. Why grading of Aggregate is important?
These properties along with the water/cementitious material ratio
determine the strength, workability, and durability of
concrete. The grading or size distribution ofaggregate is
an important characteristic because it determines the paste
requirement for workable concrete.
13. Aggregate Classification and Grading Machinery
Aggregate classifying machines and installations. The grading installations
may be used exclusively for this purpose or they can be designed as a
complement to the aggregate crushing and washing installations.
Alquezar manufactures fixed and mobile classifying plants, as well as
individual machines and vibrating screens, grading grizzlies and feeders.
14.
15. Fixed Grading Plants
Fixed aggregate classifying installations. The grading plants may be used
exclusively for this purpose or they can be combined with the aggregate
crushing and/or wash stages, with productions that vary from 40 to 500 t/h.
Large-sized aggregates can be screened in the primary stage, and smaller-
sized aggregates in the secondary-tertiary stage. Classification grizzlies are
used in the first case, whilst for the second grading type, CT series vibrating
screens are used with screening surfaces that vary between 1.4 and 16.1 m2.
16. The final stockpiling of the classified aggregates can be carried out in piles on
ground level, via belt conveyors, in concrete cells or in metal hoppers or silos,
depending on the customer’s needs.
A wet classification can also be carried out in wash plants, by adding water
showers in the CT screens.
The minerals are discharged via vibrating feeders, oscillating feeders, belt
feeders or pre-screening feeders, depending on the size and nature of the
aggregates to be treated.

18. Mobile Classifying Plants
The mobile classifying groups satisfy all the characteristics of Alquezar
products: Reliability, versatility and economy of use. Equipped with
running gear or with skids (semi-mobile versions) they can quickly and
easily be transferred from one work area to another.
The classifying system is comprised of feed hopper, pre-screening grid,
belt feeder, sloping feed belt, vibrating screen and stockpiling belts
(depending on the model).
19.
20. Vibrating Screens
The CT series dynamic screens stand out for their great robustness,
versatility and extreme efficiency for heavy work, intermediate cuts and
obtaining end products. They easily adapt to any grading process and with
any class of material, obtaining constant granulometric curves with the
highest productions.
The screen body is suspended on the support frame by easily replaceable
helical metal springs.
21.
22. Classification grizzlies
The Alquezar classification grizzles are machines used for the primary
classification of minerals, classifying large-sized rock.
The Grizzly body is suspended on the support frame by easily replaceable
helical metal springs.
The vibration mechanisms consists of a shaft with highly resistant roller
bearings, mounted on steel housings. The bearings are lubricated with grease
and sealed against dust.
23.
24. Feeders
Alquezar have a wide range of aggregate feeders to satisfy unload the minerals
from hoppers, silos or stockpiles on tunnel.
The type of technology used depends on the size of the aggregates, on the quantity
of sand present and on the material compactability.
According to these factors, primary vibrating feeders are used for rocky materials
with a small quantity of sand, whilst we will use primary oscillating feeders for
materials with a large quantity of sand, to prevent it from getting stodgy
27. Aggregate Washing Machinery
Alquezar places a wide range of complete installations and machinery at
its customers’ disposal, for aggregate washing, and water clarification,
filtering and recovery, combining high process productivity with
environmental protection and care.
Alquezar has complete washing installations and plants, in fixed and
modular versions, as well as specific machinery for this type of
installations.

29. Carbon Grinding Plant
The calcium carbonate grinding system usually contains one of the Ball
Mill, LM series Vertical Shaft Mill, Raymond Mill, Trapezium Mill,
Coarse Powder Mill, Ultrafine Mill, etc. for different usage, the system
also equip with deceleration machine, blower, hammer crusher, dustpan
elevator, impulse dust cleaner, piping device, cyclone collector device,
classifier, high-pressure motor and muffler and so on.
30.
31. Calcite Mining and Processing Plant
ALK calcite pulverizers include calcite crushers and calcite grinding mills.
calcite crushers includes Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher, Impact Crusher and
Mobile Crushing Plant, which is used to crush the big calcite block to
smaller. ALK grinding mills include Ball Mill, Raymond Mill, MTM
Trapezium Mill, Super-Micro Powder Mill and Coarse Powder Grinding
Mill.

33. Bauxite processing plant
Bauxite mine is actually kind of ore minerals collectively formed mainly by
gibbsite, a boehmite or a diaspore which can be used in the industry. Bauxite
is widely applicated in both metal field and nonmetal field. Bauxite mine is
the best material for producing aluminum. In nonmetal field, bauxite is
mainly used as refractories, abrasives, and the raw materials for high alumina
cemen.

35. Basalt Stone Processing Plant
Basalt is the ideal materials to mix asphalt mixture. basalt is
largely applied to constructions of railway, highway, and airfield
runway. To one complete basalt production line, it may contain
many of the machines. The final equipments configuration
depends the practical demands and the design.
