3. Warping:
The parallel winding of warp ends from many winding packages (cone or
cheese) on to a common package (warp beam) is called warping.
Main components of warping machine:
1.Creel
2.Headstock
Types of warping machine:
1. High speed warping machine
2. Sectional warping machine
4. High speed warping also called Beam warping/Direct warping. In high
speed warping the yarn is wound parallel on the warping beam. All the
yarns are wound at once and simple flanged beam is used. It is a very high
speed process and is used for making fabric of single colour.
5. Creel(cone or cheese)
Balloon breaker(with guide)
Yarn tensioner
Yarn guide
Ceramic guide
Auto stopper
Separator
Dropper
Supporting rod
Adjustable V-reed
Lease rod
Tension roller
Weavers beam
6.
7. In sectional warping equal length of yarn is first wound in small sections or sheets
on a drum. Then from the drum it is transferred to the beam. . This is a two stage
method and is used for making fancy fabrics.
10. Problem-01:
Yarn guide fracture
Solution:
Perfect guide should be used
Proper yarn tension should be maintain
Problem-02:
Defect stop motion(spring & sensor)
Solution:
Defect spring should be changed
Good sensor used
Problem-03:
Gear teeth fracture
Solution:
Proper lubrication should be used
Proper gear load
11. Problem-04:
Yarn breakage & cross end formation
Solution:
Proper yarn tension
Rough yarn guide should be changed
Problem-05:
End missing
Solution:
Stop motion device should be checked regularly
Problem-06:
Hard beam
Solution:
Moderate pressure must be maintain between the contact of drum & beam
12. Problem-07:
Uneven motion on beam
Solution:
Driving drum surface should be clear regularly
Problem-08:
Unnecessary twist on weavers beam(sectional w.)
Solution:
Peg on winding drum must be clear regularly with proper lubricating
