Dear Hiring Manager:
I was impressed with Harold Wyant’s drive, communication skills and
professional demeanor when I hired him in January 2016 as a Strategic
Partnership Manager. During his time here, he consistently demonstrated all of
these qualities and more, and I heartily endorse him for any business
development or sales positions you have available.
Organized and diligent, Harold quickly made it his business to learn our software,
our products & services, and our industry. He is reliable and dedicated. Within a
short timeframe he was able to prospect, develop, and manage customer
accounts – with an eye to uncovering their unmet needs and identifying how our
capabilities in content development, online media, and teacher connectivity meet
them.
On July 25th
, in the face of changes in our business model, I closed the
department Harold worked in and laid him off. This was in no way reflective of
Harold’s efforts or selling results. In fact, he was able to make connections and
close our first sales with several large corporations after only 6 months on the
job.
