2. REASON WHY I HAVE CAPTURED THESE
PHOTOGRAPHS
Below are a few pictures that I have taken, I have taken these pictures of a boy and girl smoking and doing it together
because I believe that it appeals to my target audience. As you can see there are two parts to my pictures there's on part
where the girl and boy are smoking together and they look very un-neat there's as there is another part where they are
both wearing Indian cloths and look extremely happy together, so therefor there is a negative atmosphere where the both
models are smoking and are bad influences to each other and then there's a positive atmosphere where they are active and
are in there Indian cloths looking like they are dancing. An example would be of the picture where the boy and girl are
standing there, and the boy is lighting her cigarette for her, this shows the bad influence of the boy. Also the way they are
dressed makes them look like a tramp. Another example would be both the girl and boy holding each others hands and
looking like they are dancing, this shows the positive vibe because of their emotion on there faces are excited. Both these
pictures have a meaning first shows that smoking makes you look un professional and tatty, the second picture shows
there is alternative which I joining and Indian dancing club. It brings up the point that dancing is a way out of smoking
and drugs.
3. SCREEN SHOTS OF HOW PICTURES WERE
DOWNLOADED
1) In this print screen you can see
that I am opening the fashion
pictures from my Camera, and
importing the pictures onto
InDesign.
2)In this print screen I am looking for
the all the different pictures I have
taken so I can export them into
3) When I have to export the pictures
I have to make sure that they are a
right file to be onto InDesign, so I
change the type of file.
4) In this print screen I had gone through all the fashion
pictures I had captured and checking what type of file they
were. The pictures were JPECS so they would allow me to
5) This print screen includes the
pictures from a DLSR camera, they
are all JPEG files. These pictures were
exported from the camera to
computer by a SD card, then I had to
highlight all the pictures I had taken
on the DLSR camera and export ed
them into my USB so I could use
them whenever I wanted to.
4. THE LAYOUT ON INDESIGN (COLUMNS AND
RESIZING)
Above is a print screen of what I had to change to choose what
size I wanted my magazine to be, the first page shows a A4 sized
paper and the second one next to it is A3. Before I go further on I
have to make sure that both of them are international papers.
This print screen is of one
of the layouts of my article
which is made on
InDesign. Both the pages
have text and images on
them. To make my text
move around I had linked
the text this made it
Over here I have used
ctrl and the shift key
to resize my pictures
so that they are all the
same equal size, I also
had used the scale to
do this to are sure
they are all the same
To scale and resize my
images I had used
Photoshop, I had done
this so that I could see
what pictures go well
with what picture. On
Photoshop I can select
different images and
look them in place so
they wont move around.
5. BACKING UP FILES
There were some documents that
were on my USB, so therefor I had
to back them up, reason being for
this I because the server could
easily be corrupted, which means
that all my work may be lost.
When I back up my file I named it
the same name as my local disk. To
locater here my finished article is I
created a own file for it., this mans
my work wont be lost and there
wont be a confusion.
On the left hand side is where I saved my
InDesign work, there were also JPEG files
there which had been exported. All the
files here I have converted into a JPEG, so
I can upload my work to the internet
onto my blogger. I have named these
files final article, this makes it easy to
locate on my local disk drive. Because my
files are not images they could be
distorted or pixelated so therefor I had
