Mindfulness activity presented by the Slovenian team in the third teacher training held in Klodzco (Poland)

1. MINDFUL WALK
KOLEZIJA PRIMARY SCHOOL, LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA
DESCRIPTION:
Children take a
walk in nature or in
any other
enviroment, silently
they use their
senses as
instructed – sight,
hearing, touching,
feeling the
surounding with
skin on their face,
hands, feet, … After
they share their
experiences with
their mates.

2. GOALS:
• Improving their focus
• Developing their awareness of the senses
• Improving their abilities to observe, listen, feel
• Being in a moment
• Having fun
• Connecting to the group and the surrounding
• Getting rid of fear when in new, unknown situations
