This is a feasibility study and proposal to develop alternative to existing popular
social media channels for the Muslim Ummah in particular and ethical non-
Muslims in general throughout the globe.

The general alternative social media, which would not be completely Shariah
compliant, would cater to the ethical non-Muslims and would be free from
unethical aspects like pornography, homosexuality, drugs, alcohol, etc.

The general alternative social media would have a special category for the
Practicing Muslims, which would be Shariah compliant , adhering to the
teachings of Quran and Sahih Hadith.
In 2011, the worldwide Social Media
user base stood at 473.6
million and this will grown to
2,471.4 million by end-2016,
at a CAGR of 39.2% during 2011-2016.
In 2011, Social Media users
accounted for 7.9 percent of
the worldwide internet
subscriber base.
This percentage is expected to
increase to 30.9 percent by
end-2016.
