2. Shane lidgett Jason Bourne Shane Lidgett from ‘Now you see me … now you don’t ‘ and Jason Bourne from the ‘Bourne Trilogy’ are very similar characters. Jason Bourne is a person trying to regain his identity , he has a tormented past, which continues to influence him throughout his lifetime , this also relates to Shane Lidgett as he has been scarred for life from a previous incident . Both characters have a psychological threat but for different reasons . Their costume represents a fairly average working man both in business type dress and there facial expressions linked as they always seem confused or anxious about there surroundings . They can be a threat to the public as you see Shane going through stages of delusions mistaking strangers for someone he once new and Jason is naturally brought into a life of violence forced upon by the police because he is forever trying to regain his identity while bumping into people stopping him . These camera shots show isolation from society . They both have a sense of aggression . This shot shows them both in a rush which gives the idea that they are both worried . A picture which introduces the character , also shows the similarities in costume and hair style .
