3.  When fledgling companies first encounter
that wall, many of their owners are convinced
that all they need to do is upgrade, fine-tune,
or replace their product, information, or
service and combine it with a compelling
marketing approach. Yet, in doing so,
outcomes do not often change. Young
business leaders usually lack the experience
and perspective to pivot and improve the
product properly or craft the winning
marketing strategy.

4.  The right product is a critical element of success.
However, most products do not sell themselves.
For that, a company needs a systematic
marketing plan and quality leadership to put it
into action. To attain greater success, the
company’s entire leadership team, if not the full
complement of employees, should engage in a
program of personal growth. Such growth can
