1. Image Planning
This will be used as my front cover image. I
will edit many thing on this picture however,
to make it fit in with my magazine. I will
probably change the yellow background with
the shadows, to a clear white background. Or
a different colour background to make it fit
with my Dance magazine front cover
background. To edit out the background I will
have to precisely crop around the image of
‘Doctor-G’. I will also maybe to get rid of the
shadow down the middle of ‘Doctor-G’s’ face,
as having a white background won’t case any
shadow without any lighting being on the
picture. On the other hand, I could keep it as
it could have the connotation saying that
there are two sides to ‘Doctor-G’. It could
work well with the story on the double page
spread article.
2. Image Planning
This image will be used on the contents
page and it will be cropped and re-seized
to a smaller picture. I will try to take the
yellow walls out of the back and will try
to edit out the junk on the desk. (The
papers, the stapler, etc.) As at the
moment it looks too much like a home
office (which it is), but I will try to edit it
and make it look like a believable music
studio. I will try to make this put this
picture on the contents page and make a
caption for it saying something like
“Doctor-G working on his new album in
the studio”. This picture could also go on
the double page spread. It won’t be the
main image but, it will be a smaller
image that will be placed in the middle
of some text.
3. Image Planning
This image will be on my double
page spread. It will be also used as
the main image. However, at the
moment the image won’t look too
good on a double page spread of a
Dance magazine. This image needs a
lot of editing. I will have to crop out
the carpet and the picture in the
background. Like the previous image
it looks too much like it has been
taken at home, which it has but, I
need to turn this image into an
image which looks believable. After
all the editing that will take place,
no one should be able to tell that
this image was taken at a home.
