● Using gills which are under the gill
covers to help breath in underwater
● The gills have large surface with a rich
supply of blood
● Fish take in water through their mouth.
As water flows past the gills, dissolved
oxygen in the water enter the blood in
the gills and is transported to other
parts of the body.

their lungs WHEN ON LAND
● Breathing in oxygen through their moist skin WHEN IN

breathing in oxygen from the air through blowholes.
