April 2018 Development of a module to add to a product named Netwin. Netwin is an Operations Support
System Software to help the project, construction and inventory. It is a unified inventory system
and allows the telecom operators to support all fulfillment and assurance processes. The module
was responsible for the import and export of information from xls files, as well as the data
validation before insert in the database.

Sept 2016 During this project, I had the opportunity to continue the research and development in software
fault injection area done during my thesis. I submitted a paper, named “Practical Emulation of
Software Defects in Source Code”, to EDCC and present the work done in Sweden at September
2016.

Thesis: “Evaluating the robustness of the Cloud”
I developed a fault injector software, integrated in a tool suite named ucXception, fully developed
in Java, which analyse and manipulate C and C++ code. Modify the code, simulating errors
commonly committed by programmers. Finally I also did some tests with the Apache Web
Server, more specifically in the module mod_rewrite, in order to verify their behavior in the
presence of software faults.

Sept 2014 - CNN News Reader
Jan 2015 The main idea for this project is the development of a web application to show the CNN news.
Using the technique Screen Scraping to parse and download information from the CNN website
and save the information in xml format. Show the news using a website with some news
statistics, using some different ways to save news and send news to the subscribers.

Oct 2014 - MOODoke
Jan 2015 The idea for this project came from a partnership between MIR-CISUC and Academia Sinica to
create a web platform to enable MIR researchers to visualize music emotion variation combinig
both audio and lyrics time-analysis. Since karaoke is very popular in oriental cultures we targeted
these kind videos, capturing their lyrics using OCR, enabling a textual time-series analysis to
complement the existing audio analysis.
