Secure REST API 2015
▪ Simulated a secure Facebook like API for albums, pages, posts, friends, profiles etc., using Spray Can as the backend HTTP server,
akka actor model and encryption strategies such as PGP.
▪ API is subjected to 100,000+ concurrent scala actors (clients). This API will not only proved to be highly secure but much faster
(at least approx. 50 times) than any Python/Ruby/Rails/PHP based APIs. (Scala, REST)
PageRank Application 2015
▪ Implemented the Google's Page Rank Algorithm using Spark and GraphX, and compared the performance metrics with the
individual implementations on WEX dataset (66GB).
