Cutting Down Costs
A Senior Mobile Application Consultant met with Karen Eckert, Senior
Director of Information Technology for Case in March 2014. They discussed
a plan for streamlining operations and reducing the amount of time spent on
travel and data entry. This involved converting their current paper processes
to mobile, and having the information seamless integrate into their in-house
systems. With this information, they developed an implementation plan that
included:
ā¢ Converting existing paper forms to mobile apps using the GoCanvas

ā¢ Connecting the GoCanvas database to Microsoft Dynamics CRM
through consultation with the GoCanvas professional services team

After implementation, Case Design saw an immediate increase in billing time.
This is due to work orders being completed out in the field and being instantly
sent back to the office via email so that the invoicing process can begin. The
office staff receives these reports and is able to review and schedule additional
work in real-time without worrying about illegible hand writing or inaccurate
