Problem Statement : Pesticide sprayer
lOne of the difficult task in farming is spraying pesticides on the
fruits to prevent it from gem attacks
lThis task can be made simple by replacing human efforts by a robo
machine
3. YOUR SOLUTION
For eg , In promoganate orchid , on one plant there are 10-15 fruits on
which pesticides is to be sprayed
l We will design a machine with spraying pipe, cylinder and a
controlling unit.
l Initially our system will scan the no of fruits on the plant , locate the
distance between the machine and the fruit, then the pipe will be placed
near the fruit .
lThe predefined amount of pesticide will come out of the pipe and will be
sprayed on the fruit , this will be done for all the fruit
lThe plants in orchids are planted onapproximetley same distane from
one another so , automatically our machine (wheel enabled) will move to
that fix distance and will spray the pesticide
4. TECHNOLOGY
MECHANICAL WHEEL: To move in the orchid
SENSORS : ULTRASONIC SENSORS / INFRARED SENSOR to measure
the distance between the fruit and the machine
CONTROL UNIT: 8051MICROCONTROLLER
GSM : To send the status of the work to farmer
