We are the Central Organization of
Small-holder Coffee Farmer
Cooperatives in the Sandia Valleys. It
was founded by Quechua and Aymara
smallholder growers in the region in
1970. Cooperative membership
comprises of men and women. Their
hard work is rewarded by through the
production of uniquely flavoured,
quality coffee. Thanks to Fairtrade, they
are able to continue to raise their
standard of living and improve coffee
production.

8. Presentation of Product
Once brewed, coffee may be
presented in a variety of ways. Drip-
brewed, percolated, or French-
pressed/cafetière coffee may be
served with a dairy product such as
milk or cream, or dairy substitute
(colloquially known as white coffee),
or not (black coffee). It may be
sweetened with sugar or artificial
sweetener. When served cold, it is
called iced coffee.
