This document provides details for pre-producing a magazine, including the colour scheme, potential fonts, image styles, front cover layout, double page layout, content sources, contingency planning, and health and safety considerations. The colour scheme matches the book cover colours of #912335 and #8a4fbd. Various content such as an author interview and concept art can be obtained from the document's author. Layouts include the front cover design with the magazine name and tagline and a sample double page spread with articles, images, and facts. Potential issues and solutions are outlined, such as having file backups in case of corruption or changing font sizes if text does not fit allocated spaces.

Image Styles:
These colours are the
colours used on the book
cover so it makes sense for
these to be the main
colour scheme. Plus, they
compliment each other.
The fonts here work well
because the important parts
like headlines and quotes
are bold, whilst the text is
thin in order to be easier to
read. Plus the different
styles are cohesive.
These selected images represent different
images I will use in my magazine. For
example to concept art style is how the
concept art for the book will look. The
silhouette photos are in the style of the
magazine cover, the front cover.

Potential Issue Solution

to worst redo them in a simpler style to save
time
Text doesn’t fit in allocated places Cut out unnecessary info, change font size or
rearrange layout so it fit.

Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Repetitive strain injury Take breaks frequently to avoid cramps

Explore colours and pixel art styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss these elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to.
Mock up of a potential design using the colours and sourced images. Alter this slide to make it appropriate for your planned product types. Use the content established in your style sheet to do this.
