Q1) In what ways does
your media product use,
develop and challenge
forms and conventions of
real media products?

Georgia Duncombe
Advertisement
 This is the final version of our advertisement, by using a
picture of the band, correct font style means that we have
followed the conventions of a indie rock style poster. We also
feel with the colours and wood and effects on the photograph
  we also feel indie rock.
 After looking into different indie rock advertisements, we decided that
the text needed to stand out boldly enough against the background
so that it was easy and clearer to read.
 This is some comparisons to other advertisements.
 Some of the same conventions we have followed are:
 Large text of the bands name.
 Different size fonts
 Effects on the image.
We have included listings of songs.

                      Mumford and Sons adverts.
This picture of the band also features on the poster,
the photo of the band it shows the lead singer in the
fore front of the picture, although this could show a
difference in the hierarchy of the band members, the
fact that they are all in the same frame shows that
they are still a unit.
