ARMAGNAC TENAREZE 5 ans-years old
Owner: Cellar of the Hillsides of Mézinais
Grape variety: Ugni-Blanc
Premises soil: Argoli-calcaire of hillsides and stony plateaux
Wine making: Traditional and natural; after the harvest, the pressing
of the grape and the fermentation, the wine is distilled by means of the
still.
Distillation: With a continuous traditional Armagnac still in simple fire
chamber
Aging: After the distillation, this Armagnac is aged for 5 years in
Gascony oak wooden barrels of 400 liters
Alcohol: 44%vol
Characteristics :
A beautiful amber colour, the Armagnac develops floral aromatic notes
(lime tree) and fruity (pear, quince) completed by light woody flavour.
It’s lively and warm.
