1. Best Wines in this Planet
Sacchetto Pinot Grigio Venezie IGT £7.47
This Pinot Grigio is easily among Italy's most thrilling. It's bursting
with ripe aromas and packed with fruit, a hint of white pepper and spice. We
have tasted dozens of similar wines recently but none has the character to
compare to this wine's exotic richness.
Among northern Italian wine regions, the Veneto is second only to Piedmont
and its wines - from Valpolicella to Soave - enjoy an international reputation.
Increasingly however, it's Pinot Grigio that every wine lover wants - coveted
for its elegant, refreshing, easy-drinking charm. In the beautiful, hilly
vineyards that look down towards Venice and the Adriatic, the Pinot Grigio
grape performs at its best - revelling in the moderate climate and long hours of
Summer sun.
The new winery that is today equipped with the most modern technology has
been granted the ISO 9002 certificate of quality.

nose of fresh strawberries and raspberries.

wine, guaranteed to delight!
The Saumur vineyards occupy the centre of the Val de Loire region in France and
their 2000 hectares spread out across the southern slopes of the Loire covering 93
communes. The soil is clay – calcareous which is the main characteristic of this
appellation.
Grapes: Chenin Blanc, Grolleau Gris, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay
Region: Loire, France
Vinification: This wine is made by the Methode Traditonelle, which means it has its second
fermentation in the bottle. This takes place in the spring and then the wine is kept on oak wood
slats for 9 months. During the ageing process the fine lees yielded by the second fermentation are
deposited on the inner surface on the bottle. Each day a quarter turn is given to the bottles and
simultaneously the inclination of the bottle is increased. Through the combination of these two
movements, the lees become detached from the surface. The bottles then become completely
inverted. Once the lees have completely collected in the cap of the bottle, the lees are disgorged.
Taste: A brilliant colour Rose, the wine has very fine bubbles, with a nose of berry fruits and
fruity palate. The wine is made in a smooth, medium style.
ABV: 12%
Serve: The perfect aperitif, serve chilled. Ideal for Weddings and Get-togethers with a few
friends!
