1. Audience Profile<br />Our film is a thriller with a sub-genre of crime thriller. We have decided that the certificate of our film is going to be a 15. This is because our film will contain gore, graphic killings and also some strong language which can cause distress amongst viewers and will therefore not be suitable for minors. It contains a lot of graphic killings which is one the main reasons we made it a 15 because it is not suitable for viewers younger than that age. Our storyline is very straight forward but can be very hard to understand mainly because the stalker will never be seen and the viewers will never fully understand the reasons for his actions. The reason why we chose to make it a 15 rather than a 18 is because no sexual scenes even though our storyline is based on a number of rapes it will not be shown in the film. The reason why we chose to do that is because it fits in with our storyline as the stalker will never be revealed. Although he will never be seen his actions and the things he does will be understood.<br />We don’t specifically appeal to any type of audience we aim to grab every ones attention and get attached to our film. However because our film has a certificate of 15 it would most likely appeal to younger viewers between the ages of 15-30. Our film could also appeal to the older viewers mainly because it has a sub-genre of a crime thriller which older viewers find very interesting.<br />Gender:<br />We feel our film specifically appeals to females as the storyline is about a stalker and a number of girls he is obsessed with. It is also because the victims are all females which give a sense that the female audience can relate to the film. <br />Age: <br />Our main target audience would be viewers of the age of 15 mainly because the certificate of our film is a 15 and also there are scenes which would not be suitable for viewers younger than 15. We feel that more of the middle aged and older viewers would watch more mainly because you have to pay real attention as things are not as straight forward in the film.<br />Race: <br />Our film will predominantly be aimed at English and American viewers. We wanted our film to<br />appeal to all races. Because our storyline relates to all races, as stalkers and rapist are in all cultures.<br />Class and interests:<br />We think that teenagers (15-18) and young adults (18-25) are most likely audience for our film and<br />they will share the similar interest of socialising with friends. Watching films is a common interest in<br />young people, and most would say they like watching thriller films when they are in a group. Our<br />thriller film targets at young adults as we think they would be able to interact and relate to the film more.<br /> <br />
