Objective
The majority of my past experience has been in sales, sales management and sales training.
Overall, I have almost 30 years of combined experience in all facets of sales and have
always met and exceededany and all goals expected of me. I am ambitious, hardworking,
thorough and consistent, with a history of accomplishments leading to recognition and
promotions. I have well-developed communication skills and am able to interact with
people at any level with a strong ability to focus on both short and long range goals.
I am interested in applying for a NCATE position, on the elementary level. I have recently
completed an approved teacher preparation program in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special
Education (N-12) and graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.7 GPA),from East Stroudsburg
University of Pennsylvania in December of 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree. I hold certifications
in K-12 Special Education and K-6 Elementary Education.

 From October 15th - December 13th, I served as a full time student teacher under the
supervision of Evelyn Beautz, my mentor teacher, in her 5th grade science classroom. I
had also student taught under her supervision earlier in 2012 in a part time capacity as
part of East Stroudsburg University's professional development program. In total, I was

2. responsible for creating lesson plans, learning activities, assessments and management of
approximately 100 students on a daily basis.
 I was also responsible for creating a positive learning environment to maintain interest
from the students with special needs. I feel as though I was well received by all students
and believe that I had a positive impact on them. I was challenged, on a daily basis, to
create and use learning tools to serve the diverse needs of the students. Mrs. Beautz was
a wonderful mentor, and through her guidance and support, allowed me to be creative in
my preparation of lesson plans and student activities.
 I truly believe that this experience has helped prepare me for the challenges and student
needs I will face in my future as a teacher; it also left me with no doubt that I made the
right choice in becoming a teacher.

 As part of my school's professional development program, I was assigned to a behavioral
support classroom for a group of 8 students with a diverse range of emotional and
behavioral challenges. The teaching staff included the primary teacher, a mental health
specialist, a mental health worker, an associate teacher and me. Each member of the
teaching staff had specific responsibilities, and worked very well together.
 I was given full responsibility for creating lesson/unit plans for mathematics, social
studies and reading. I was also responsible for creating a specially designed instruction
plan, assist in creating an IEP and progress monitoring of the students, whose
learning/reading levels ranged from 3rd -6th grade. While I found that there were many
challenges presented to me that I hadn't experienced before, with the guidance of the staff
and my supervisor, I succeeded and thought of my time there as a wonderful learning
experience.
