To Whom It May Concern,
I am interested in applying for an Educational/ Corporate Training or a company
instructional position in your company. Please consider this letter as an indication of the
strong desire I have to become part of your company family. I am a teacher by nature,
gifting, and training and have always found great pleasure in leading others into
discovering the great potential they possess. However, over the course of my nine year
career, I am realizing that my teaching desire is moving outside of the traditional
classroom setting, as I have discovered an equally great passion, FOOD! I am truly a
Foodie at heart and hope to combine my joy of teaching with my love for nutrition, food
quality and control, and company excellence.
My teaching experience has provided me with many qualities that carry over into the
field of Corporate Training and Development. The art of presentation and leadership are
two of the most important aspects of being a teacher, as well as a Trainer. There are
several steps to successfully teaching a class of twenty-seven students. Planning,
delivering, and reflecting are major components in presenting new material to young
minds. This same process is necessary in inspiring the ‘young at heart’ as well as mature
minds. Creativity and commitment are two more traits that I possess that help to ensure
my classroom runs efficiently and effectively. When I say good-bye to my students at the
end of the day, my preparation and commitment to student success don’t end. I am
always thinking, planning, and developing new strategies and techniques that can best
meet the needs of each of my students. I also feel that integrity and work ethic are of
utmost importance. Good character is a trait that quickly is lost when times get tough. I
pride myself in teaching my students by example when it comes to compassion, patience,
honesty and perseverance.
I hope to continue to further my passion for teaching and my newer found love for food.
I am a student at heart and love the challenge of learning, researching, and growing. I
appreciate direction; however, I am extremely self-motivated and organized. My kitchen
becomes my classroom as I take new recipes and raw foods and turn them into something
spectacularly different and healthy. I find the art of cooking and creating to be something
that opens a world of possibilities, especially when shared with friends and family. Over
the past few years, I have found my most favorite past-times have become entertaining in
my home over new recipes and healthy dishes.
Please feel free to learn more about the qualities and experience that I possess. I
welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss your company’s goals, philosophy, and
vision, and how I could help to meet them. I can be reached anytime by email, and after
school hours by phone. Thank you for your consideration.
Warmly,
Sara Davis
