Kochat Gangadharan is a post graduate from IIM Ahmedabad with over three decades of experience in senior management positions in India and abroad. He is currently the founder Director of 4L Foundation, an organization engaged in executive consultancy and leadership training. Mr. Kochat was closely associated with Dr. Stephen Covey, the author of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". He traveled extensively organizing and facilitating leadership training programs. His areas of expertise include organization building, change management, time management, executive coaching and mentoring. Until recently, Mr. Kochat was the Executive Vice President of a leading textile group where he played a significant role in growth and organization building.

1. Kochat Gangadharan is a post graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, (IIMA).
He has over three decades of rich experience in senior and top management positions with MNCs,
public limited companies and family owned organisations both in India and abroad.He is currently
the founder Director of 4L Foundation for Leadership, an organisation engaged in executive
management consultancy, as well as organising leadership training and development programmes
for middle and top level executives.
Mr. Kochat was closely associated with the late Dr. Stephen R. Covey, the author of the best-selling
book ‘The Seven Habits of Highly effective People’. He was the country head of Leadership Resources
India Private Ltd, a joint venture with Franklin Covey USA, during the period 2000 to 2002. Mr. Kochat
Gangadharan had the privilege of being trained personally by Dr. Covey himself as a facilitator for the
‘Seven Habits’ Leadership Training Programme. In this capacity he travelled extensively in India and
abroad, organising and facilitating leadership training programmes.
Mr. Kochat is also a Certified Life Coach with Result Coaching Systems (RCS), Australia.

Until recently Mr. Kochat was the full time management consultant and Executive Vice President of
Sharadha Terry Products Limited, part of the $500M leading textile group in the south. His association
with the group spanned over a decade! During the first five years he played a significant role in turning
around the company and achieving a five-fold growth in turnover through the implementation of ‘best
manufacturing practises’, while adhering to ‘principle centered’ leadership.
In the latter part of his tenure as Vice President Corporate HR, was devoted to organisation building and
employee empowerment. Leading and motivating a team of cross-functional managers, he achieved
organisational objectives year after year, inaddition to:

n Providing one-on-one coaching to functional heads
n Conducting annual performance appraisals for senior and top management

Prior to his assignment with Franklin Covey, USA, he was the Director, Corporate Sales and business
head for the Indian operations of the $10BN Hitachi Metals of Japan.
