Marketing Assistant January 2015)
Duties include:
- Client services
o Answering calls
o Welcoming guest to the office and offering them refreshments
- Email correspondence
o Answering all queries on email in a timeous manner
o Sending all monthly emails to clients (closed days, holidays, important

- General IT Support
o I helped out in the office whenever there was something wrong with a
computer/laptop that I knew how to fix and repair in terms of software and
programming (I did not do any hardware repairs)
o I was also assigned as an admin on the Office 365 system to lodge queries
with Microsoft directly to handle anything that I could not handle myself

o I handled two of the Poise Brands social media pages, Facebook, Twitter and
Instagram for Mio Skincare SA and Juliette Armand SA.

o Answered any queries that came in on the pages, and also ensuring
communication with anyone who commented or shared our posts.
- Invoicing(Pastel) (Order packing and sign off)
o Assisted when the Office Manager was off sick and on maternity leave with
invoicing of products for the clients on pastel. I can do Invoices, Credit Notes
and some reports on Pastel.
o I also assisted with the packing of orders, and ensuring the correct stock was
pulled and packed when the Office Manager was not on duty
- Filing
o Handled all the filing for the office. Invoices and payments, leave forms,
assets, contracts.
- Compiling reports
o I compiled various reports for various departments in the company, did these
mostly in excel and then compiled summaries of these reports to be used in
Employee evaluations and assessments when needed.
- HR Support
o Managed the leave register and leave taken.
2. - Travel arrangements and bookings
o Booked Flights, accommodation and car hire whenever an employee needed
to travel
o I signed agreements with suppliers for the best prices and always ensured
staff was in a safe environment
o I would send a Travel Information letter to staff that listed all their information.
Flight details, accommodation details and contact details as well as car hire
details and contact details.
- Supplier relations and evaluations
o We did quarterly reviews of suppliers to ensure we were always using the best
suppliers that added value to Poise Brands
o Ensured that the relationships we had with suppliers were of good quality and
nature
- Asset management support
o Compiled an Asset Register that had all the office assets on it, it showed
which asset was with which employee and pulled thought everything that
linked to ensure we knew at all times where our assets were
o I also handled our Insurance company to add and remove assets as we
needed them to be and also read through the schedule to ensure nothing was
on that was not supposed to be

o As Marketing Assistant I dealt with certain media persons, I ensured a good
