ne is used to hate speeches by some members
of Bajrang Dal and other similar outfits on
streets and in congregations but rarely inside
Parliament. Ramesh Bidhuri, a BJP MP from South
Delhi, set a precedent by using Islamophobic slurs
and abuses against BSP MP Danish Ali in the new
Parliament where a special session is being held. As
if he had nothing to fear, he continued to repeatedly
use invective to the embarrassment of his party MPs.
The Speaker ordered Bidhuri’s remarks to be ex-
punged and warned him of “severe action”.
With the Opposition leaders slamming Bidhuri,
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh apologised to the
House for his party MP’s conduct. In his letter to the
Speaker Danish Ali alleged he was called a terrorist
and demanded that the matter be referred to the Priv-
ileges Committee. Ramesh Bidhuri’s offensive re-
marks against BSP MP in the Lok Sabha deserve to
be condemned in strongest terms. The BJP doesn’t
need anti-Muslim hate to win elections.

of them being women. Six women candidates were
elected to the Lok Sabha on Congress ticket in 2019

Hairstyle is the aspect of appearance which makes people stare so
one should make it worth their while. Hence, City First brings to
you information about a wide variety of spectacular hairstyles
that suit various shapes of the face!
airstyle is one of the most
important factors that de-
cide the appearance of an
individual. A wrong hair-
style on the wrong face
shape results in a disaster.
Hence, a hairstyle should suit the shape of
the face. It is important to understand that a
well-cut hairstyle with the wrong face can
lead to a disaster.Ahaircut is all about shape
and geometry. It is like putting the perfect
frame around a person’s face to balance and
bring perspective to the overall shape.
It minimizes non-pleasing attributes and
promotes positive ones. A good hairstylist
knows the style that will suit your face. One
must possess knowledge about the shape of
their face so that they can understand what
does and does not work for them. This way
one can easily communicate with the hair-
stylist. Apart from this, it is also important
to match the hair colour to the skin tone.
There are a variety of complexions and they
fall into two different skin tone categories
such as warm or cool. Hair colours that have
a warm tone look natural. This colour rule
also extends to make-up, accessories and
clothing.
Hair texture and density also play a sig-
nificant role when choosing a hairstyle. This
knowledge helps in the maintenance of hair.
Fine hair can lack volume so there are many
ways in which one can add body and vol-
ume. These include correct cutting and
shaping techniques, chemical wave/root lift
applications, styling product aids and cor-
rect blowdrying setting techniques. Adding
a few layers throughout the ends, followed
by some curls waves and teasing can be a
great look for sparse-density hair. Stick to
cuts that are shoulder length and above for
best results and use a mix of volumizing
products to make the hair look more thick
and voluminous. There’s no better way to
establish a classic look or make a splashy
statement than with the hair colour. The best
way to do this is to ensure that the hair col-
our regardless of whether it’s natural look-
ing or bright and wild. Some popular hair-
styles include curls, braids, etc. These stun-
ning hairstyles look great on every face.
ZARI FRENCH BRAID
This hairstyle tops the list where a
gold thread can escalate old
French braid to a whole new level.
Washed and straightened hair can
be taken in two sections and then
a French braid can be made by
adding a section of hair to the
main braid with each successive
twist down the length of hair.
DIFFUSED CURLS
Curls add glory to the looks and
give a spectacular appearance. It
can easily be done with the help of
a wide-toothed comb. It requires
an application of a dollop of
volumizing mousse throughout
the hair. A 5-inch section of hair
needs to be pulled back from the
centre of the forehead after blow-
drying.
WINDSWEPT WAVES
This is more of a natural hairstyle
which gives a free-spirited and
vibrant appearance. A 2-inch
curling iron is required which
gently brushes out all the curls
giving it a wind-swept look.
PINNED BACK TWISTED ROPES
It makes strands of hair look like a
rope. Pick up 2-inch sections of
hair at a time and curl them all.
Gently run a paddle brush through
the hair to open up the curls and
part the hair down the middle.
Pick up a 3-inch section of hair
and divide it into two parts
from near the right temple.
Twist both the sections of
hair separately and
then intertwine
them with each
other. Secure
the twisted
braid at the
back of the
head with some
bobby pins
crisscrossed over
each other.

n the wake of
nearly three dec-
ades of economic
liberalization, In-
dia has made sig-
nificant strides in
elevating a substantial portion of
its population to the middle class.
It is a remarkable transformation
that has led to every third Indian
now belonging to this middle-in-
come group. What's even more
fascinating is the projection that
by the year 2047, nearly two out
of every three Indians will be part
of this burgeoning middle class.
However, beneath this promis-
ing facade lies a concerning real-
ity. Currently, 67% of households
contribute merely 1% of the total
savings, a stark contrast to the eco-
nomic prosperity that seems to be
on the rise. The COVID-19 pan-
demic laid bare the vulnerability
of this situation, as approximately
60% of the country's population,
roughly 80 crore people, lacked
even a few weeks' worth of sav-
ings to weather the storm. Further-
more, by the year 2050, an esti-
mated 320 million Indians will be
aged above 60, raising concerns
about their financial security and
well-being.
This dilemma becomes all the
more critical when a breadwinner
in the family faces an untimely
demise, disability, or a sudden ac-
cident or illness. Life, as it unfolds,
presents two primary risks: un-
timely death and life after retire-
ment. Therefore, it is imperative
for every individual to create a
robust safety net, ensuring not
only personal health care but also
family security.
Achieving financial well-being
demands mastering a set of funda-
mental skills that many of us were
never formally taught in school.
The good news is that it's never too
late to educate oneself about per-
sonal money management. Learn-
ing the basics of personal finance,
such as securing your family's fu-
ture, replacing your monthly in-
come, and investing for retire-
ment, is key to achieving financial
goals and building wealth over
time. Risk management should
precede any investment decisions.
It's essential to emphasize two
key points:
 Insurance is Protection Against
the Risk of Death: It safeguards
your loved ones in the event of
your untimely demise.
 Investing is Protection Against
the Risk of Living: It ensures
your financial well-being during
your lifetime.

BHAGAVAD GITA IN-DEPTH BJP DOES NOT NEED ANTI-MUSLIM SLURS TO WIN ELECTIONS ne is used to hate speeches by some members of Bajrang Dal and other similar outfits on streets and in congregations but rarely inside Parliament. Ramesh Bidhuri, a BJP MP from South Delhi, set a precedent by using Islamophobic slurs and abuses against BSP MP Danish Ali in the new Parliament where a special session is being held. As if he had nothing to fear, he continued to repeatedly use invective to the embarrassment of his party MPs. The Speaker ordered Bidhuri’s remarks to be ex- punged and warned him of “severe action”. With the Opposition leaders slamming Bidhuri, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh apologised to the House for his party MP’s conduct. In his letter to the Speaker Danish Ali alleged he was called a terrorist and demanded that the matter be referred to the Priv- ileges Committee. Rahul Gandhi also mentioned that 33 percent seats in state assemblies and the Lok Sabha can be kept aside for women even now and blamed the government for not doing that. If the Congress scion thinks it is possible to reserve 33 percent seats for women, his party should ideally announce a list of Congress candidates with one-third of them being women. Six women candidates were elected to the Lok Sabha on Congress ticket in 2019 and do not represent 33 percent of the 52 winning MPs. JAIPUR, SATURDAY | SEPTEMBER 23, 2023 Glamour | Fashion | Bollywood | Hollywood | Lifestyle DRAMATIC TRANSFORMATION nglish actress Amy Jackson, renowned for her work in Indian films, has recently undergone a dramatic transformation that has left fans astounded. P11 E 09 firstindia.co.in firstindia.co.in/epapers/jaipur thefirstindia thefirstindia thefirstindia Hairstyle is the aspect of appearance which makes people stare so one should make it worth their while. Hence, City First brings to you information about a wide variety of spectacular hairstyles that suit various shapes of the face! airstyle is one of the most important factors that de- cide the appearance of an individual. A wrong hair- style on the wrong face shape results in a disaster. Hence, a hairstyle should suit the shape of the face. It is important to understand that a well-cut hairstyle with the wrong face can lead to a disaster.Ahaircut is all about shape and geometry. It is like putting the perfect frame around a person’s face to balance and bring perspective to the overall shape. It minimizes non-pleasing attributes and promotes positive ones. A good hairstylist knows the style that will suit your face. One must possess knowledge about the shape of their face so that they can understand what does and does not work for them. This way one can easily communicate with the hair- stylist. Apart from this, it is also important to match the hair colour to the skin tone. There are a variety of complexions and they fall into two different skin tone categories such as warm or cool. Hair colours that have a warm tone look natural. This colour rule also extends to make-up, accessories and clothing. Hair texture and density also play a sig- nificant role when choosing a hairstyle. This knowledge helps in the maintenance of hair. Fine hair can lack volume so there are many ways in which one can add body and vol- ume. These include correct cutting and shaping techniques, chemical wave/root lift applications, styling product aids and cor- rect blowdrying setting techniques. Adding a few layers throughout the ends, followed by some curls waves and teasing can be a great look for sparse-density hair. Stick to cuts that are shoulder length and above for best results and use a mix of volumizing products to make the hair look more thick and voluminous. There’s no better way to establish a classic look or make a splashy statement than with the hair colour. The best way to do this is to ensure that the hair col- our regardless of whether it’s natural look- ing or bright and wild. Some popular hair- styles include curls, braids, etc. These stun- ning hairstyles look great on every face. ZARI FRENCH BRAID This hairstyle tops the list where a gold thread can escalate old French braid to a whole new level. Washed and straightened hair can be taken in two sections and then a French braid can be made by adding a section of hair to the main braid with each successive twist down the length of hair. DIFFUSED CURLS Curls add glory to the looks and give a spectacular appearance. It can easily be done with the help of a wide-toothed comb. It requires an application of a dollop of volumizing mousse throughout the hair. A 5-inch section of hair needs to be pulled back from the centre of the forehead after blow- drying. WINDSWEPT WAVES This is more of a natural hairstyle which gives a free-spirited and vibrant appearance. A 2-inch curling iron is required which gently brushes out all the curls giving it a wind-swept look. PINNED BACK TWISTED ROPES It makes strands of hair look like a rope. Pick up 2-inch sections of hair at a time and curl them all. Gently run a paddle brush through the hair to open up the curls and part the hair down the middle. Pick up a 3-inch section of hair and divide it into two parts from near the right temple. Twist both the sections of hair separately and then intertwine them with each other. Secure the twisted braid at the back of the head with some bobby pins crisscrossed over each other. Dhhanushri Vyas cityfirst@firstindia.co.in H

It is a remarkable transformation that has led to every third Indian now belonging to this middle-in- come group. What's even more fascinating is the projection that by the year 2047, nearly two out of every three Indians will be part of this burgeoning middle class. However, beneath this promis- ing facade lies a concerning real- ity. Currently, 67% of households contribute merely 1% of the total savings, a stark contrast to the eco- nomic prosperity that seems to be on the rise. The COVID-19 pan- demic laid bare the vulnerability of this situation, as approximately 60% of the country's population, roughly 80 crore people, lacked even a few weeks' worth of sav- ings to weather the storm. Further- more, by the year 2050, an esti- mated 320 million Indians will be aged above 60, raising concerns about their financial security and well-being. This dilemma becomes all the more critical when a breadwinner in the family faces an untimely demise, disability, or a sudden ac- cident or illness. Life, as it unfolds, presents two primary risks: un- timely death and life after retire- ment. Therefore, it is imperative for every individual to create a robust safety net, ensuring not only personal health care but also family security. Achieving financial well-being demands mastering a set of funda- mental skills that many of us were never formally taught in school. The good news is that it's never too late to educate oneself about per- sonal money management. Learn- ing the basics of personal finance, such as securing your family's fu- ture, replacing your monthly in- come, and investing for retire- ment, is key to achieving financial goals and building wealth over time. Risk management should precede any investment decisions. It's essential to emphasize two key points:  Insurance is Protection Against the Risk of Death: It safeguards your loved ones in the event of your untimely demise.  Investing is Protection Against the Risk of Living: It ensures your financial well-being during your lifetime. TheRoadto Financial Security Vinod Fogla Professional Certified Financial Planner Founder of My Wealth I FAMILY HEALTH INSURANCE: It should ideally cover at least your annual income, as the diagnosis of critical illnesses can result in job loss and a potential loss of corporate health insurance coverage. TERM INSURANCE: The coverage should be based on your age and an- nual income. For instance, individuals under 40 earn- ing Rs 5 lakhs annually should consider term insur- ance coverage of approxi- mately 20 times their in- come, i.e., 1 crore. DISABILITY INSURANCE (PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE): India sees a significant number of road accidents daily, with a high percent- age occurring in the pro- ductive age group of 18 to 45. Disability insurance can provide essential finan- cial support in such cases. EMERGENCY FUND: Set aside an emergency fund equivalent to 6 to 12 months' worth of your monthly expenses, depend- ing on your job nature and profile. RETIREMENT PLANNING: The thumb rule for retire- ment planning is to have 300 times your current monthly income needs to retire comfortably, consid- ering factors like inflation and expected returns. In conclusion, securing your financial future re- quires a proactive approach to risk management and planning. By weaving this web of security around yourself, you can ensure a stable and prosperous to- morrow for you and your loved ones, regardless of life's uncertainties.
