Ms Fiona Ashmore
born on 7 January 1992, undertook an internship in our Company from 2 June 2014 until 31
October 2014.
Ms F. Ashmore’s main activities as SBU Trainee within our KITKAT Management department
were as follows:
• Develop and implement the Marketing Asset Management (MAM) Web 2 Print tool,
which is an online solution to optimise and simplify the development of Point of Sale
Material for Markets. The project involved the participation of 8 key Markets and 2
external agencies.
• Ensure that the update of the KITKAT Brand Communication Standard document is
completed, validated and signed off. Key areas of focus were the brand properties
framework, Point of Sale Material and KITKAT’s intellectual property.
• Support the Global Brand Manager of Countlines with data analysis required to develop
the Countline strategy for AERO, ROLO and LION.
• Overall management of digital and social media platforms for KITKAT. Working closely
with the brand’s creative and digital agency to oversee all digital developments.
• Extensive data analysis reporting on KITKAT’s performance in 2013.
• Day to day operations of interacting with the different Markets to gain information and
support.
Occasionally, she would assist with creating presentations, extract data from different databases
to present information, brainstorm ideas around KITKAT’s campaign, attend trainings and
conferences, support with the development of internal reference documents, assist with internal
workshops, advise on artwork development and conduct factory analysis to monitor and regulate
products.
To achieve her tasks, Ms F. Ashmore made effective use of all technical and computer tools
available in our Company, especially the MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
She worked mainly in English and occasionally in French.
Throughout her employment, Ms F. Ashmore assumed all the responsibilities with which she was
entrusted to our entire satisfaction. She engaged proactively on the key projects with which she
was trusted, showed excellent initiative and delivered a quality of work which belied her
commercial experience to date. We highly appreciated her ability to work autonomously.
Furthermore, she enjoyed excellent relations with everyone she engaged with.
Ms F. Ashmore leaves our Company at the end of her internship. We thank her for her excellent
collaboration and wish her every success in her future studies and career.
