FREQUENCY ADVERBS
• WE USE FREQUENCY ADVERBS TO SAY HOW OFTEN SOMETHING
HAPPENS.
FREQUENCY ADVERBS
• WE USUALLY USE ONE WORD FREQUENCY (PREVIOUS CHART)
BEFORE THE MAIN VERB:
- We SOMETIMES watch a film in the evening
FREQUENCY ADVERBS
• With AM, IS, ARE, WAS, WERE, ETC. FREQUENCY ADVERBS COME
AFTER VERB TO BE.
-THEY ARE ALWAYS LATE TO SCHOOL.
-NOWADAYS MY MOTHER IS ALWAYS ILL.
FREQUENCY ADVERBS
• WE CAN PUT USUALLY, OFTEN, SOMETIMES AND OCASIONALLY
AT THE BEGGINING OR END OF A SENTENCE.
• We cannot put ALWAYS or NEVER at the beggining or end.
-Ocasionally, we eat in the school.
-I feel tired sometimes.
-Always I work hard.
READ THE SITUATIONS AND WRITE SENTENCES
ACCORDING YOURSELF (AND AGAIN, BE HONEST
PLEASE)
• ARRIVE LATE TO PLACES.
• GET UPSET IF SOMETHING ISN´T RIGHT.
• STUDY BEFORE A TEST.
• SMOKE BEFORE ENTER TO SCHOOL.
• LAUGH IF SOMEONE FALLS IN FRONT OF ME.
• SLEEP IN CLASS.
• WRITE THINGS IN A WALL OR TABLE.
