๏Khyber pakhtunkhwa is one of the four provinces
of pakistan, located in the northwestern region of
the country.
๏ It was formerly known as north-west frontier
province (NWFP), commonly called sarhad in urdu,
which means "frontier
๏ Its provincial capital and largest city
is peshawar, followed by mardan.
3. ๏It shares borders with the federally administered
tribal areas to the west; gilgitโbaltistan to the
northeast; azad kashmir, islamabad and punjab to
the east and southeast.
๏Khyber pakhtunkhwa does not share a border
with balochistan which lies to its southwest.

border with afghanistan, connected through

โข The scenic dudipatsar lake and lulusar
lake and peaks are in the park.
11. SHEIKH BUDDIN NATIONAL PARK
โข SHEIKH BUDDIN NATIONAL PARK (ALSO SPELLED SHEIKH BADIN NATIONAL PARK)
IS LOCATED IN DERA ISMAIL KHAN DISTRICT, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA.
โข THE PARK WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2003 AND COVERS AN AREA OF 15,540
HECTARES.

โข Saiful muluk national park is located in the naran
valley in mansehra district of khyber-
pakhtunkhwa, in northern pakistan.
