Main tasks included:
• Planned and implemented Heartland Alliance International - Lebanon Monitoring & Evaluation
strategy. This involved creating M&E tools, and synthesizing, analyzing and validating
quantitative and qualitative data, including undertaking regular field visits to support M&E
activities and monitor its implementation.
• Built the capacity and provided technical assistance to project and partner staff on
implementing project-based Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, besides ensuring
compliance the organizations’ as well as donor’s rules and requirements. In addition, built
knowledge and skills of staff and partners in logical frameworks, data collection, data analysis
and result-oriented programming.
• Assisted in program development, which included drafting project proposals, results
framework, budgets, narratives, and drafting M&E plans. Additionally, worked on cultivating
and establishing relations with potential donors and partners.
• Prepared internal and external project reporting, including monthly and quarterly project
updates, and developed M&E plans and narrative during the proposal development process.
Additionally, managed the development of M&E plans and implemented the
daily/weekly/monthly work plan while monitoring partner staff M&E officers and ensuring
M&E activities are integrated into project designs and sufficiently budgeted for.

• Managed and developed two regional statistics projects, Urban Transport Account and Mobility
in Cities Database, through a strict monitoring and evaluation plan to meet short deadlines
already set. This involved designing the action plan, conducting desktop research and regional
visits to collect and validate data, and draft an evaluation report, 2015 MENA Transport Report.
• Provided consultations and directions for the 2016 MENA Transport Report.
• Organized, implemented, and marketed UITP training and knowledge development activities,
including a capacity building training in collaboration with the World Bank Group.
• Established new participatory research methods with UITP members to further understand
their needs and tackle it, such as creating online surveys.

team of staff, volunteers, and interns that I have trained.
• Achieved successful outcomes beyond indicators set by donors, which involved making critical

• Developed the M&E department’s action plan; Created and evaluated assessments and
surveys; and was in charge of team training and recruitment.
• Collaborated on projects with the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education
(MEHE) and United Nations International Child Fund (UNICEF), which involved providing data,
evaluation, and critical feedback from the field.
GREEN LINE “GL” – BEIRUT, LEBANON

Main tasks included:
• Managed Green Line Transportation, Green Spaces, and Solid Waste Management campaigns
on a social and political level.
• Established and led the National Coalition of Public Transport “NCST,” which involved leading
public transport lobbying and awareness campaigns along with other NGOs, which
contributed to the legislation of a new Lebanese traffic law. This also involved organizing
workshops for the coalition’s members to build a platform for the coalition to stand on.
• Drafted donor’s semi-annual and annual narrative report.
• Enhanced the visibility of the organization by conducting media interviews to keep a high
profile of the NGO, and promoted Green Line and its campaigns across media and social media
platforms.
• Obtained funding for the Zero Waste Campaign from UNDP, through which Green Line
successfully worked with outlets in one of Beirut’s main touristic hubs on managing waste
based on environmental standards.
• Organized workshops, seminars, and conferences for stakeholders, partners, civil society
networks and activists, to tackle environmental and social issues.
• Established and directed Green Line’s volunteers group consisting of 28 active members.
