Professional Profile
I am a self-motivated individual, with strong analytical skills and extensive experience designing and
delivering multi-partner community, health and emergency projects in Latin America and the
Caribbean, as well as global projects. I have worked with local, regional and international
organisations, and have spent time based in the Caribbean region working on HIV projects. More
recently I have worked from a distance supporting applications for a number of different countries. I
adapt well to different circumstances, and relate to all people in a professional and culturally sensitive
manner. I have travelled extensively for work, frequently having to work to tight deadlines to design
projects and develop programmes with staff in many countries.
Key skills and abilities
• Advanced project cycle management, including problem analysis, project design, financial
planning and management, monitoring and evaluation;
• Demonstrable analytical and creative skills: fundraising strategy development and implementation;
organisational strategy development;
• Excellent programme funding skills, including proven track record of raising funds and managing

International Development Consultant January 2011 – present
• Short term contracts for various institutions, including the Caribbean HIV&AIDS Alliance, ActionAid
UK and ActionAid offices in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar, Nepal, Cambodia,
Kenya, Lesotho and Pakistan, IMA World Health and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance
• Managed the Technical Support Hub for the Caribbean HIV&AIDS Alliance, procuring technical
experts for a variety of projects, including the Global Fund; this included developing ToRs for
external evaluations and other pieces of work
• The organisation of a regional seminar on Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV in Trinidad for
the Caribbean HIV&AIDS Alliance with participants from Governments and NGOs
• Research in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States on the delivery of services for most at
risk populations
• Supported development of a proposal in the Congo to Department for International Development
• Development of a proposal for funding for Promoteurs Objectif ZeroSida in Haiti
