Advantages and Disadvantages of “Globalization”
Globalization:
Globalization refers to the increasing integration of production, development and
communication among nations on a worldwide scale. Globalization is often divided
into three categories: economic, political and social.
Advantages:
People can connect beyond the borders through online communication.
People can understand the norms of other culture.
Through globalization, Business can run globally and launch their productworldwide.
People can get social awareness aboutthe culture conflicts around the world.
The possibility of war between the developed countries decreases.
Itpromotes world peace. (By Connecting People each other)
Disadvantages:
Differencein perception can create conflicts.
Widening of Gap between rich and poor countries. (Becausemost of the Rich countries
are not communicating with the poor country even in the era of globalization)
Itincreases the level of unemployment in countries as jobs are outsourced to other
countries that pay lower wages.
As dominant cultures come to the forefrontthe ethical, moraland cultural
idiosyncrasies of each country of the world are lost and misunderstood.
