OBJECTIVES
• Increase common understanding about healthy diets in the
context of trade and value chains
• Explore with participants how trade and value chains can impact
healthy diets and nutrition, making use of the UNSCN paper
“Enhancing Coherence between Trade Policy and Nutrition
Action”
• Present learnings from the FAO/IFAD/WFP partnership on
nutrition sensitive value chains
• Facilitate exchanges and discussion about ways to mainstream
nutrition issues in trade and value chains concepts
