JOB DESCRIPTION
AS INSTRUMENT AND AUTOMATION ENGINEER:
 Control systems installation: PLCs racks, PLCs(Allen-BradleyPLC 5 and
SLC500 with Rockwell Automation software), Control logix 500 system
and Factory Talk HMI, cabinets and internal components,systems cards,
rails and terminal blocks. Labeling and tagging of control wiring and
blocks
 ICSS maintenance.
 Working knowledge of SCADA

3.  Troubleshoot,repair and calibrate and test various types of process
control instruments and relay logic which include pneumatic, electrical
and electronic instrument
 Perform preventive, corrective and diagnostic maintenance on process
control systems and control loops.
 Servicing and maintenance of MPFM(Multi Purpose Flow Meter).
 Instrument installation/ termination and tube bending (3/8, ¼, ½ inch)
on instrument manifold to processline tapping point and instrument air
manifold.
 Enforce and monitor safety compliance in line with Company HSE
objectives.
 Shutdown System, Fire and Gas detection,/Hook–Up, Start-Up and
commissioning procedurespreparation and execution.
AS MWD/LWD MAINTENANCE SUPPORTENGINEER:
 Installation and maintenance of the sensors, unit and equipment
required for the MWD/LWD service in accordance with the client’s
specifications and general rig ups,
 Maintenance, calibration, loading and setup of the down hole tools
used in the acquisition of the directional drilling mechanics and
formation evaluation measurements.
 Monitoring and trouble shooting of the signal sent from the down hole
software for failure review and root cause analysis
 Presentation of real-time and recorded mode data both in electronic
data to offshore and onshore personnel and in the form of logs and
numerical data. Development of logging plan and end of well report
 Complete Bottom Hole Assembly(BHA) deployment tests and checks
 Systems reimaging of EARC advantage software and upgrade
 Provide technical support for sales department
 Facilitates workshop training for Directional Drillers, Field Engineers,
Local content partners Interns and new hires.

 Maintenance of DST/TCP tools and TCP gun loading

 Running of down-hole test tools and TCP operations.
 Ensure that all down-hole test tools (such as packers,safety joint,
hydraulics jar, down-hole valves of any kind, safety valve etc) and down-
hole operations are in compliance with safety and pressure operation
procedures.
 Handling numerous projects simultaneously and integrated schedules
ensuring co-ordination of multiples testing services such as TCP, DST,
Subsea and surface well testing.
 Working on Continuous Improvementprojects.
