►East Peoria Zombie Apocalypse, Halloween zombie walk, 5:45 p.m. Oct. 25. Participants
should gather at 5:30 p.m. in East Peoria’s Levee District, for a walk through the business district
to Firehouse Pizza, 240 S. Main St. Each participant will receive a free piece of pizza.
Participants 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Event is presented by the East

►Pekin Haunt, Pekin Paintball Park, 14444 Towerline Road, Pekin. Zombie shoot from twostory battlewagon, cornmaze. Prizes range from $7 for the corn maze to $25 for a haunted shoot
with 200 painballs plus entrance to corn maze (bandwagon recommended for ages 5 and older;
corn maze recommended for ages 13 and older). Runs from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday

►Wildlife Scary Park Halloween event, 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25-27 (with a Merry-Not-So-Scary
Park for the little ones from 5 to 7 p.m.), Wildlife Prairie Park, 3826 N. Taylor Road, Hanna
City. Train-sylvania Express, haunted hayrack ride, spooky animal encounters, pumpkin carving
demonstrations, bonfire, storytelling, Halloween movies and free candy on the trick-or-treat trail.

►Drunken Zombie Film Fest, international horror film festival, noon to midnight Nov. 2 and
noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 3, Landmark Cinemas, 3225 N. Dries Lane, Peoria. Admission is $15 on
Nov. 2, $10 on Nov. 3 or $20 for both days. Call 682-6356 or visit

►The Peoria Chiefs will host Pumpkins in the Park from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at Dozer Park.
There will be trick-or-treating around the stadium, costume and pumpkin painting contests,
concourse entertainment and a 1:30 p.m. viewing of “Hotel Transylvania.” Admission is one
non-perishable food item per person or a $5 donation to Midwest Food Bank per person. Each
attendee receives a voucher for a free ticket to a 2014 regular season Chiefs game in April or
May.
►Halloween hunt, noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 27, Peoria Riverfront Museum. Scavenger hunt, fright
light planetarium show, and bat presentation (3 to 5 p.m.) for children ages 3-12. Admission is
$10 for members (children), $15 for non-members. One adult admitted free with each child, $5
for each additional adult. Tickets to giant screen theater are $5 for Halloween hunt patrons.
