The State Theatre is hosting various plays, films, and community events between July 15-21. On July 17, they will show the film The Land Before Time as part of their Read It Watch It series. From July 18-21, they will perform Freud's Last Session in their Attic space. On July 19-20, the State College Community Theatre will perform Arthur Miller's The Crucible. On July 21, they will show the films Duck Soup and Beneath.

Schlow

The
State
Theatre
present
adventure
film
The
Land
Before
Time
as
the
next
in
the
Read
It
Watch
It
series.
Families
are
invited
to
follow
the
adventures
of
five
orphan
dinosaurs
who
travel
the
ruins
of
their
world,
while
grieving
the
loss
of
their
families
and
banding
together
to
face
the
odds
of
survival.

Set
in
London
at
the
start
of
World
War
II,
Freud’s
Last
Session
focuses
on
an
imagined
encounter
between
renowned
psychiatrist
Sigmund
Freud
and
author
C.S.
Lewis
where
the
two
discuss
the
reality

unreality
of
God
and
religion
and
what
difference
it
makes
in
how
we
live.
This
Next
Stage
Production
is
directed
by
The
State’s
Artistic
Director,
Richard
Biever
and
is
performed
in
the
intimate
space
of
The
Attic.

Crucible

This
play
focuses
on
a
young
farmer,
his
wife
and
a
young
servant-‐girl
who
maliciously
causes
the
wife’s
arrest
for
witchcraft.
The
farmer,
instead
of
saving
his
wife,
finds
himself
also
accused
of
witchcraft
and
ultimately
condemned
with
a
host
of
others.

transported
back

the
Puritan
purge
of
witchcraft
in
old
Salem
in
this
1953
Tony
Award-‐winning
historical
