GeeklyCon 2017 at Crowne Plaza St. Louis (Thurs. Jul. 20 through Sun. Jul.
23) - A geek convention with a focus on board games, tabletop games, making friends, creating memories, and

Jungle Boogie Nights at the Saint Louis Zoo (Fri. Jul. 21, 5-8 pm) — Bring the whole family to the St.
Louis Zoo for a free concert in the center of the Zoo. Enjoy refreshments available for purchase at the Lakeside

Dive & Jive at Manchester Aquatic Center in Schroeder Park (Fri. Jul. 21, 6 pm) — Come out and
enjoy the annual Dive & Jive event at Manchester Aquatic Center. The pool staff plans fun games and the crowd
will get going with great summer tunes. The movie “Finding Dory” will be shown on the big screen. No outside
food/beverages allowed. Admission: Free with pool pass; otherwise, after 5 pm rates apply.
Food Truck Frolic and Movie Night at St. Charles Community College (Fri. Jul. 21, 5-9 pm) —
Bring your family to the Food Truck Frolic and Summer Movie night for an evening under the stars. A family-
friendly event that’s free and open to the public (food cost varies), the food trucks and vendors will be serving
up delicious eats and fun treats until dusk. At dusk, bring your lawn chair and blankets and meet on the grassy
hill by the Tech building for a showing of “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” A rain or shine event.
Free Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Chesterfield Amphitheater (Sat. Jul. 22, doors open at
6 pm; 7:30 pm main event) — Enjoy an evening listening to the sounds of the Summer Breeze band with its trib-
ute to “Yacht Rock” and the smooth tunes of the ʼ60s and ʼ70s. Grab fixed seat or bring a blanket/chair; there’s
not a bad seat in the house. May bring own food and beverages (no glass, please). Free.
Free Family Night at the Kirkwood Magic House (Fri. Jul. 21, 5:30-9 pm) — The Magic House hosts
Emerson Free Family Nights every third Friday of the month, enabling a family (up to 2 adults and 4 children) to

Summer Sunday Funday Workshop at Sweetology in Town & Country (Sun. Jul. 23, 2-3:30 pm) —
It’s the ultimate Funday Sunday afternoon for kids! Step out of the sun for a while, and head inside to whip up a
tasty “Funny Fish” cake masterpiece. After it’s baked and decorated, kids can take it home for a family treat. All
